04.30 Hrs.: Early in the morning, you will be picked up by bus at your hotel in Cusco and taken to the train station for your trip to the town of Aguas Calientes. As you travel by train you will have an amazing view of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes our staff members will assist you to a shuttle bus which will take you up to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Here a professional guide will take you on a 2 ½ hour tour to tell you about the history that wraps this mysterious and charming site. After your guided tour you will enjoy some free time to explore the area on your own. At your leisure you can take a shuttle bus (departs every ½ an hour) back to Aguas Calientes Town to explore this area further. In the afternoon, you will return to the train station where you will, on again, be greeted by our staff members who will help you during your train and bus rides back to your hotel in Cusco.
